101.9 The River BROADCASTING LIVE

101.9 The River and Jack Mason's Tavern have once again teamed up to offer listeners a chance at some cool gifts from underneath the Jack Mason's Tavern Christmas Tree! To have a chance to win, you've first got to register at one of our sponsors:

In Clifton Forge:

  • Jack Mason's Tavern
  • Highlands Community Bank
  • Dairy Queen

In Covington:

  • Tri County Furniture, Carpet & Appliances
  • Highlands Community Bank
  • R & P Lanes

Also:

  • The Low Moor Country Store (by the Hospital)
  • The Snak Shak (near Boiling Springs Firehouse)

Once registered, be sure you're listening to 101.9 The River starting Monday, December 8th. At 10:30am every weekday morning, we'll draw a name from everyone who registered. If we call out your name, you'll have TEN MINUTES to call us back at 800-315-WJVR. If that person does not call us back inside of the 10 minute time limit, we'll immediately draw another name and we'll keep repeating that process until we get a winner!

Once we have a winner, that person will get to pick a numbered box from underneath the Jack Mason's Christmas Tree! We've got TEN boxes to choose from. Nine of those boxes have prizes, but one of those boxes is empty - we call it our Grinch Gift. We've got well over $1,000 worth of prizes to give away, but you've got to listen for your name to be called for your chance to pick your gift! We'll keep a list of all prizes won right here so you can follow along!

Keep listening to 101.9 The River for more info!

We'll have lots of items up for auction through the event to raise money for less-fortunate kids of Alleghany County who might not otherwise have a Christmas to celebrate this year. Applications for those needing assistance can be picked up at Sona Bank in Clifton Forge now through December 5th.
